Jake Sisko - Male Human 
Writer and civilian, Bajoran Sector 

Jake Sisko is the son of Jennifer and Benjamin Sisko, a starfleet officer, in 2355. In 2367 Jake lost his mother when the USS Saratoga was destroyed at the Battle of Wolf 359. Jake's father was serving as the Saratoga's executive officer. Jake came to Deep Space Nine in 2369 when his father took over as station commanding officer. It was soon discovered that his father was the foretold Emissary of the Bajoran Prophets, who would lead Bajor into a golden age. 

Jake's father attempted to prepare him for Starfleet, but Jake found another passion in writing. He became a press correspondent during the war against the Dominion, and covered the war behind enemy lines when the Dominion took over DS9. 

Jake also introduced Captain Sisko to his future second wife, freighter captain Kasidy Yates. Jake lost his father in 2376, when Sisko triumphantly battled the Pah-Wraith's Emissary and Sisko nemesis Gul Dukat. His father promised to return one day. 

Jake currently lives in Bajor's Kendra province with his pregnant stepmother, building his father's dream home and waiting for his return.
