Sharon A. Jordan a.k.a.
Slinky Frog.
My real name is Sharon Anne
Jordan, I grew up in Glastonbury, Connecticut. My birthday is August
22, and I was born in 1966. After marrying my husband, he joined the
U.S. Air Force and lived in such places as Biloxi, Mississippi (Keesler
AFB), Rome, New York, (Griffiss AFB), and now North Hanover, New Jersey
(Maguire AFB). I also have two children, Heather who was born on July
1, 1992, and Christopher born on August 22, 1996. That's right, my son
was born on my birthday. The best present I ever got!!
I have been in retail most
of my life; I now work part time for Waldenbooks. It's really fun, really!!!
;-) I just recently got the job. My hobbies used to include skiing, but
Ihaven't done that in ten years. I also enjoy rollerblading, piano and
keyboard playing, and listening to music. I have a huge variety of favorites:
Men At Work, Genisis, Enya, Paula Abdul, Wierd Al Yankovic, The Monkees,
I'm warming up to Shania Twain and Garth Brooks, lots of dance music, (I
love to dance) and so on. My biggest hobby is reading. I love to read science
fiction, especially Star Trek, histories of royal families, and
Native American fiction. I am also trying to write myself; I'm hoping to
write a really good Julian and Ezri story.
My favorite food is...chocolate!!!!
I have been a Star Trek
fan since I was fifteen and my friend got me onto it. I became enamered
with Mr. Chekov, and then I was hooked. So I always gave any Star Trek
show a chance, and I was not disappointed. When Deep Space Nine first aired,
I was delighted to have another Star Trek show. When I saw "Move Along
Home," I noticed Siddig's uniqueness (not just his tall, dark, cute looks),
and I have always been attracted to such things. After more episodes, I
began to notice a compassion and tenderness with him that made me even
more...hmmm, let me say, STAR STRUCK!!!!!!!!! I found the actor to be gentle
and considerate in his interviews. I'm greatly disappointed that I have
never had a chance to meet him. It's hard to go to conventions for me,
with my lifestyle. If I ever had a chance to meet him, I would tell him
what a pleasure it is to watch his acting and thank him for playing a wonderful
character that I enjoy watching!
I would also would like wish
him and his wife a wonderful life together. When I first found out about
them, it was in the TV Guide issue. I read how their friendship turned
into love, and I understood, and knew that it was going to work 'cause
that is how I saw mine and my husband's relationship with each other. I
think they're adorable together, and I wish happiness for their children.
My favorite episodes are of
course, mostly Bashir ones. "The Wire," "Our Man Bashir," "Dr Bashir, I
Presume." I also like "Duet" and I love to talk about "Children Of Time."
"Trials and Tribblilations" was a good one too.
Oh, and another thing, sometimes
I get a little goofy. That's just me. I have a weird streak thing inside
me. So that's me...hope it's not scary!
Sincerely, the Slinky Frog!
