My name is Shawn Layton, and I'm about to change my last name to Kehoe because I got married. :) When I first wrote a bio for the WYCBT website, I was 21 and living in Texas, near Houston. Now I've been married a little over a year, live in Phoenix, AZ and am 33.

I've been with WYCBT since the very beginning. I've mostly planned and edited stories, though I wrote some in episode 3. We are currently finishing the last episodes of season 8 and planning the next season and looking to add new writers, editors, etc. I'm currently hosting and taking care of the website. In 2009, I was sent the files from the former website and am trying to get everything working smoothly again. I'm afraid I delayed uploading some finished stories for too long because of numerous excuses: getting married, moving, surgeries, and working on client websites rather than this one. It's 2012 and I'm renewing my efforts to continue the WYCBT project!

My parents were fans of the original Star Trek when I was born and my brothers and I were brought up watching it in reruns, and over and over again on all the video tapes we made of it. I've never known a time without Star Trek and have watched and enjoyed all the other series as they came along, Deep Space Nine being my favorite series and Dr. Bashir my favorite character.
